Vethouse Arundel is proud to be returning the traditional locally owned and operated veterinary surgery to your high street.

As a wholly independent practice, we are not restricted by corporate policies and procedures or high staff turnover and will quickly establish one-to-one trusted relationships with you and your pets. We commit to having unhurried appointments, a straightforward and transparent pricing structure and continuity of care.

We will utilise our many years of professional expertise and experience, alongside your own invaluable insights, to collaborate and look after your own pet’s individual health and wellbeing.

Who we are

  • Lisa Daniels

    Lisa Daniels BSc(Hons) BVM&S MRCVS

    Founder & Veterinarian

    Lisa never wanted to be anything other than a veterinary surgeon. Graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 1998, and after spending the summer studying medicine at the University of California Davis, she returned to the South Coast to start her career as a small animal vet. Lisa has continued to study during her career and is studying at the University of Liverpool to be an advanced practitioner.

    Lisa firmly believes in local, independent practices where the decision-making can be both autonomous and holistic with your pet’s individual needs at the centre. Vethouse Arundel is the result of years of planning and visualising a veterinary surgery that serves a community of fellow animal lovers.

    Pet family: Margot, a sweethearted French Bulldog; and Dave, a very able three-legged Labrador.

  • Sophie C

    Sophie C

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Sophie has worked in the veterinary industry since 2016 and qualified as a registered nurse in 2021. She loves meeting clients and their animals, and building relationships with them. Sophie has been working in local practices since qualifying, and developing her nursing skills in order to provide the best care possible.

    Pet family: Sophie has a very spoilt cat called Frodo who is treated like royalty.

    Leigh S

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Leigh has been working in veterinary practice for 18-years, qualifying as a veterinary nurse in 2015. She has since gone on to earn a certification in nurse dentistry and is a diabetes advisor. She is currently studying towards her advanced diploma in animal behaviour and is a certified fear free professional. She loves all animals but cats are definitely a favourite - she is known as the cat whisperer as she can make the most nervous cats feel better.

    Pet family: Her dog Sam and her three rescue cats - Kiki, Squit and Fifi.

    Registered Veterinary Nurse & Client Care

    Teresa has been working as a veterinary nurse for the last 30-years and has gone on to also be amazing at client care - she is able to go that step above when helping you. Teresa is a qualified small animal behaviourist and trainer, and a certified puppy party instructor. She is always happy to share her knowledge.

    Pet family: Her two dogs, Wally and Nelly.

    Veterinary Receptionist

    Alison has been working as a veterinary receptionist since 2018 and enjoys it immensely. Her favorite part is meeting and getting to know all the lovely furry and feathered VIPs. She is happy to be part of the new Vethouse customer care team.

    Pet family: Her two smiley and bouncy Golden Retrievers, Oakley and Freddie.

Our Story

Focused on you and your pets

Vethouse Arundel is a small animal general practice able to offer non rushed appointments in order to build a happy relationship with you and your pet.

We are fully equipped and able to offer all routine medical and surgical services, with state of the art x-ray and ultrasound. Our fully equipped laboratory allows in-house blood testing with same day results for most blood tests. There is a stand alone dental suite with the ability to carry out dental x-rays.

We have dogs and cats on separate floors so that cats are not upset by our waggy friends. The cattery has the best large non-stressful cages and cat wall so they can have a comfortable stay and stretch their legs.

We are lucky enough to be working in the beautiful market town of Arundel, West Sussex.

Our practice premises are large enough to be able to accommodate:

  • Separate cat and dog waiting area and consult rooms

  • Dedicated cat floor with cattery and separate cat surgery area

  • Dog kennels and dog surgical area

There are three allocated parking spaces at the rear of the clinic and ample one hour parking at the front of the building.
